About Me
Susan has been an active Realtor since 1997. She started her career with William E. Wood in the Newport News office, then moved to Williamsburg in 1999. A native Texan and graduate of Texas Christian University, Susan spent 26 years as a military spouse. She understands the stresses which ensue moving to many different locations. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Susan worked as manager of Military and Government Affairs at the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, affording her the opportunity to hone her skills working with the public.
While serving her Real Estate clients’ needs, Susan was honored to be selected as Rookie of the Year in 1998. Awards followed over the years, nominated for Realtor of the Year in 2009, Code of Ethics Nominee in 2009 for the Carolyn L. Moseley Ethics Award, and the winner of the office Spark Plug Award for 2008 and 2012. Past clients consistently wrote of Susan’s “professional, knowledgeable, honest and caring component.” They also remarked, “She is thorough, patient and understanding of your needs in the moving process.” One buyer wrote, “You made the stressful home-buying experience so much easier and fun.” Another wrote, “What a delightful experience it was! Susan made everything so very easy for us. She truly is a professional in her field and treats you as a friend.” Susan moved back to Texas in 2013, but Williamsburg’s local interests, friends, and the wonderful area called her back.
Susan stays busy outside the office with interests such as travel, antiques and gardening. She is the proud mother of two sons and four grandchildren!
Howard Hanna Real Estate Services is excited that Susan is back with us! More importantly, you will have a dedicated, experienced agent working for you whether purchasing or selling a home.
